Summer Academy: Academics and Arts

Professional Children’s School offers the Summer Academy program for PCS and non-PCS students in grades 6 through 12 who wish to continue honing their skills and knowledge. There are two types of programs available during the summer:

Acting Coaching

Mr. Sagona is offering individual coaching sessions and masterclasses to actors who are serious about their craft.  Young actors with the drive to focus on their audition techniques, master a scene, or get more comfortable with improvisation will benefit from this opportunity. Various packages for both in-person and online coaching available.

Vocal Coaching

Dr. Inman is offering individual coaching sessions and masterclasses to singers who are serious about honing their vocal techniques. Young vocalists can sing in different styles, learn solid and healthy vocal techniques, and strengthen music reading skills along with other essentials. Various packages for both in-person and online coaching available.

Academic Courses

Current or newly enrolled PCS students can participate in several online academic courses throughout the summer. Courses are both non-credit and credit. Courses condense a semester or full year’s worth of work into 9 weeks, and participating students should be prepared to work regularly at their studies and apply themselves.
